Teepee time

We found an activity at The Artful Parent that involves a bit of outdoor space and poles and ribbons; these self-decorating teepees are great fun for the kiddie winks.

YOU WILL NEED
5 or 6 bean poles
twine or string or bush rope (the more the better)
colourful ribbons or palm leaves

HOW TO
1. stand the poles into a teepee and fasten together at the top with twine.
2. tie some twine to a pole and let the children wrap it around the teepee until it runs out.
3. the kids can add colour as they like with ribbons etc.
