Creating winter in the tropics
This holiday when it gets too heated over the tropical December, trick yourslef into believing it's cold outside and make a winter wonderland in a jar.
You'll need a glass jar of course - olive or pickle or such.
... as well as: distilled (or boiled) water, plastic figurines, paint, glue, sandpaper, and glitter.
Sand the inside of the lid to roughen the surface.
Glue the figurine to the inside of the lid, and leave to dry.
Fill the jar with water almost to the top.
Sprinkle in a pinch of glitter and screw the lid on tightly.
Flip over and let it snow let it snow let it snow.
